Veja, founded in 2004 by two Frenchmen, makes sneakers and accessories from organic cotton, wild rubber from the Amazon and biologically tanned leather.

Veja aims for transparency, the use of biological materials and Fairtrade procurement. Veja teams up with small-scale Brazilian producers of organic cotton and wild rubber from the Amazon that have organized themselves into a cooperation. Veja’s goal with this project is to create a supply chain that respects both people and their environment.
