Barbara Munsel

The Dutch designer Barbara Munsel launched her own label in 2007. She designs modern womenswear that combines natural materials with sustainable prints. Munsel creates her own prints, using natural flower and plant-based inks. To avoid waste, the designer turns to resources such as leftovers and recycled textile. In addition, Munsel is a zero-waste practitioner who keeps her production local. Each year she designs both a ready-to-wear line and an avant-garde collection of unique, handmade items.
