Van Hulley

The Dutch brand Van Hulley magically transforms worn out shirts into boxershorts. It all started when Jolijn Creutzberg stumbled upon old shirt of her husband - it was a little worn, but not enough to throw it away.

Developing the idea, Creutzberg was quick to realize that she didn’t want to create just another underwear factory - she longed to start a social enterprise.

Van Hulley’s boxer shorts are made by women who want to work, but who lack the necessary qualifications to pursue their career ambitions. So at Van Hulley they get work experience while simultaneously taking school courses. They are intensely coached by both the municipality and Van Hulley itself.
