The accessories brand Matt & Nat is all about bags and wallets inspired by nature and by different kinds of mat(t)erials. Season after season, Matt & Nat try to follow the path of sustainability. The label creates vegan products, like bags with a recycled plastic lining. No less than 120.000 plastic bottles find their way into Matt & Nat’s accessories. And those are yearly numbers. The brand’s designers also work their magic with cork and rubber. They want everyone to get excited about recycling and to start donating their old clothes.

As if that wasn’t enough to keep them busy, Matt & Nat campaign for good working conditions. The company builds a personal relationship with its various factories, visiting them regularly. One of these factories, for instance, already complies with the SA8000 Standard, a social certification standard for decent industrial workplaces.
