SCHUIT is the brainchild of Stephanie Schuitemaker and Diek Pothoven, uniting four designers and four collections in a clothing gallery. The designers are Max Zara Sterck, Jim Hu, Joanne Vosloo and Diek Pothoven himself. They all graduated from the Arnhem fashion academy. The initiative aims for non-seasonal clothing. This means that you can’t just buy the clothes: the production is based on supply and demand, which means limited quantities. The designers focus on slow fashion, transparent processes and a personal connection with the consumer. To safeguard the future of the project, Schuitemaker and Pothoven are always on the lookout for young talent to feature in upcoming expositions.
