Angela Roi

Angela Roi is the living proof that ethically responsible behaviour and luxurious accessories can go perfectly hand in hand. The vegan bags the brand is so well-known for are carefully designed and made by expert craftsmen using EPUL (Exquisite Polyurethane Leather), durable thread, and quality fabrics. The poly material is processed multiple times to ensure it is strokeable and soft to the touch.

Angela Roi’s love for animals, combined with her passion for fashion, gave her the idea for the fancy, vegan handbags that have become her trademark. Angela Roi is an official partner of ASPCA (or the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals), donating a percentage of every bag sold to the organization to help mistreated animals. Angela Roi is convinced that fashion does not depend on animal cruelty to be successful, so no living creature has to die for her bags.

Every handbag begins its life as hand-sketched idea by Angela and her New York design team. With the help of the newest technological developments available for pattern and sample designing (like 3D software), the bags slowly start to take shape. But it’s not all technology that makes Angela Roi’s world turn – quite the contrary. Every single one of her bags is the result of months and months of delicate stitching and designing, a process that’s safe in the hands of trained craftsmen and reliable Korean and Vietnamese factories. Angela Roi only works with ‘International Labour Organization’ producers, who are subjected to strict laws regarding employee rights. ‘Fair practice’ runs like a thread through all of their plants, guaranteeing honest wages and safe working conditions.
