CarlijnQ

CarlijnQ probably has Instagram to thank for its existence – as well as its founder’s creativity, obviously! Carlijn Quirijnen’s followers were so enthusiastic about the clothes and accessories she made for her daughter Doris that the Dutch designer decided to start making them for others as well. In 2015, Carlijn launched a web shop, where she sells her own lifestyle brand’s accessories and garments. Fair trade and local (i.e. production in Europe) are two of her biggest hobby horses – and rightly so, of course. In 2017, the designer took things a step further by opening her first physical store in Rotterdam, which also welcomes other ecologically responsible brands under its roof.

Most CarlijnQ garments are made from GOTS certified cotton. The denim collection is 31% recycled polyester.
