Daniel Andresen

Daniel Andresen is a German-born designer who got his training at the Antwerp Fashion Academy and decided to stay in Antwerp. He worked for Hilde Frunt and Haider Ackermann, among others.

In 2010, he started his own brand, Daniel Andresen, for which he creates sweaters and scarves on his hand knitting machine in his own studio in Belgium. The yarns come from small farmers all over the world and are completely natural: no synthetics are involved in Andresen’s work.

Andresen tries to rely on intermediaries as little as possible in the production process. Furthermore, he avoids left-overs when making his clothes. In the rare case there is some material left, he makes sure it is put to good use the next year.
